( i love gettings LETTERS)
I always love Tuesdays because...it's usually the day I get a letter from my missionary aka Elder Rydalch! I can't tell you how much these letters make my day! It is so incredible to see the growth in his testimony & spirit! He is amazzzzing! A direct quote from his letter was....
" I have LOVED my mission so far even though it hasn't always been the easiest. I have seen myself grow in ways I couldn't even imagine. I have changed quite a bit....not my personality DON'T WORRY, but just my thoughts and intentions in life. Which I think is great RIGHT? My intentions and thoughts are starting to line up with Heavenly Father's MORE I would say. If that makes sense!" -Elder Judd Rydalch
Not only is his testimony growing out there in Texas, but I feel receiving his letters, emails, & recordings helps me grow. It makes me want to be a better person and it definitely strengthens my own testimony! I don't know what I would do without the Gospel in my own life! What an amazing blessing it truly is!
Not only do I love Tuesdays because of my sweet letters, but also because I know that one of my new favorite shows comes on. Even though I don't have time to watch them on Tuesday nights especially this week (2tests & lots of homework). I definitely make an effort as quick as possible to tune in on Hulu. My new favorite show is "Jane By Design." Of course I like it because of the design part :) but it's just a show you don't have to worry about too bad of stuff creepin' in it! :) YAY!
Humor Half:
So the funny story I have picked for today is.....
Last semester I was set up on a Blind Date by one of my favorite girls in my English class. So this kid (we will call him) Herbert took me with 2 other people to the roller skating rink at the Logan Fun Park. Yes I said rollerskating and no I didn't choose to wear the skates I wore ROLLERBLADES! Well Herbert decided to try out the skates. It really was such a fun date & I had a blast, but yes of course because it's me Kayla, something had to go wrong & this is what went wrong. We all started playing tag yes on wheels. It was great & was going really well & not to mention a really good workout! Well after falls, pushing, dancing, and laughs it came to that point. My date definitely took me out & by taking me out i mean he ran straight into me & we flipped over each other and just were tangled like a pretzel. I definitely had bruises for awhile. But it was fun & I would do it again.
