Stuck in a rut
First of all I just want to apologize about not having that photo up that I have been promising for a couple weeks now. And I know my excuse is always things have been busy. Yes that has truth to it, but also because I just haven't felt up to it.
When I first started this blog... I wanted to be able to look back and see what I experienced & the things I was interested in. I guess you could say it became some what of a journal for me. {kinda} Plus it entertained others when I would tell them my stories...so I started posting about them. If you have read most of my blogs they are full of either -laughs, awkwardness, happy stories, my love for certain things, etc.
Lately I just can't seem to blog because I want my posts to be happy, funny, enjoyable...whatever you may call them. {I am a happy person therefore I want a happy blog.} I can honestly say I am kind of just stuck in a rut. I often have the questions inside my head (like we all do): What am I doing? Who am I really or who am I suppose to be? Where am I going? And to tell you the honest honest truth I have had many more....not so happy questions.
It makes me mad because I do have so much to be thankful for. Folks I truly am so blessed.
But I think we all go through these times where we just are flat out stuck. We put on a good face because that's how we are, but its not necessarily how we feel.
As Christmas approaches I have just been thinking lots & lots. One thing that I am really experiencing is the things that matter most...aka what Christmas is all about. I'm telling you usually I'm all about knowing exactly what I want from {SANTA} but crazy thing is I could care less. Those things just cost money & they just don't matter. W
I think of our dear Savior's birth, but also his LIFE. How would it be to never sin, never have mean/bad thoughts, never hurt anyone? But also I can't imagine the pain, the suffering, the heartache that he went through just for me. I am so grateful for His birth, for His life, & for the Gospel in my own life. I would be no where & I really mean no where without it.
These next posts in December will definitely consist of what I am grateful for during this CHRISTMAS holiday & -also all the time- (& don't worry I will throw in a few other things here & there).
