1st: I never found my drivers license so Whit & I decided that we would get new LICENSES. How fun it was...NOT. :) The bad thing about new licenses is a do over for a better looking picture because my last pic was HORRIBLE. Well lets just say that my picture turned out worst this time. DEVASTATION! ha - 


2nd: KNEADERS LUNCH...YUM! 


3rd: HOT SUN beating on you while searching for flowers at Walmart. This is what {WE} (mom, whit, & me) did. We were there what it seemed like forever {but....something great happened--
You know when you were a kid & just the tiniest things would distract you. Well, while flower shopping this definitely happened to me. I spotted thee biggest most beautiful BUTTERFLY I had ever seen {in person}! It was seriously INCREDIBLE. So...my little kid instincts shot right into me & I started chasing it & trying to capture a few shots from my phone. I am embarrassed{kinda} to say that I literally was sticking out my finger (chasing)WAITING & WISHING for the butterfly to land on my finger like in the MOVIES. Well it didn't happen & know it's totally okay...NEXT TIME!
p.s.-- We ended up getting tons & tons of flowers+ 20 bags of top soil & we managed to squish it in our Santa Fe(car). I was lucky enough to be in the back seat breathing in all the soil & let's just say it was not a comfortable ride. 


4th: Trip to Park City (I will blog about what happened-real soon)


5th: Garden Planting. Me & Haley helped my Mom plant all of the flowers that we had bought earlier. Well Haley helped for like 10 minutes & then she had had enough :) But while we were all together planting-- We had a good time. After Haley had left my Mom & I kicked it into gear & we worked our tails off. We got most of it done. I will be finishing up planting pots tomorrow. JOY! jk..it will be great!

HAPPY FRIDAY & 1st day of JUNE!                   may it be adventurous... 

(Baptisms for the Dead with these fun boys @ the Logan Temple) There's something about being at the TEMPLE that just makes me giddy, warms my heart, and helps me know where I am is where I should be quite often. Every temple that you will go to will be BEAUTIFUL, well kept, & of course SPIRITUAL! I need to go to the TEMPLE more often because being there is what can change a day from bad to AMAZING! Right after our wonderful Temple visit we headed to Texas Roadhouse...(of course you have got to be physically fed right after you have been loaded with a spiritual feast). NEXT....Boseph (aka: Beau-cousin) & I headed to good ole WYOMING.. Not very often do I get to make a trip down there and I thought it was time to make a quick visit for a few reasons like: to see my wonderful grandparents & other family memos my ADORABLE cousins Jace(p.s. thee cutest kid on this planet) Carol, & Thomas (&lots of other cousins) were performing the musical, " Seven Brides For Seven Brothers" I absolutely love musicals. Not only to watch and be entertained, but also to participate in them! This production was so FUN & lets just say my cousins absolutely 'ROCKED IT'  Watching this production made me think of my good ole days in the MUSICALS like...

(I was able to play RUSTY in this Musical...SOOO FUN-Senior Year) (I played one of the Nurses in this Musical...UNFORGETTABLE-Junior Year) Oh how I loved doing these & to tell ya the truth doing these plays will probably be one of the most memorable moments  I will ever have when I think back to H.S. If I could do these all the time I WOULD be as HAPPY as can be..for REAL!  STAY TUNED for the rest of my TRIP & the reasons why I LOVE COMING HERE!!! :) ---------------------------------------- Newest Purchase: (sunglasses from f21)

(trying new things)

At often times I like to the exact same routine....I know it sounds crazy, but I don't really switch it up much! SO I have decided to change that & really take in new things. Here is my small list sooo far hopefully it will keep expanding.
I found this hairstyle while on one of my favorites...the one and only PINTEREST! (follow me on Pinterest..search..Kayla Holmes) Can I just say I love that website. It  definitely makes me want to expand on my CREATIVITY.

This hair do is one that could be dressed up as easily as dressed down. To start this hair style you simply tip your head forward and loose french braid up & if you can't french braid just do a fun normal braid up the back. You then continue braiding til you get the the magnificent bun! & you twist that bun around and around loosen it up.... YOU'RE DONE.

Don't try to make it harder than it truly is! Just try it out & run right out of your comfort zone!*Not only could you leave this DO plain, but you could add fun headbands, flowers, etc. TRY IT OUT! :)

To many this is not NEW, but today after my early morning shift at work! I ran to STARBUCKS! This is not a place I go to...EVER! So I thought well I have to 2 $20 gift certificates (from my Deer Valley kids-summer job) & it is freezing up here in Logan....so WHY not go & try it out!

*I ordered a Blueberry Streusel Muffin & a Vanilla Steamer (dont worry it didn't include coffee or caffeine) and it was topped with whipped cream.. I enjoyed every bite & sip. It  was just a fun little run to a new environment for breakfast! :)

Those are my first 2 things on the list of NEW!!! I am going to keep trying new ideas like this & ya know maybe I will discover the AMAZING that I was missing out on! I challenge you to do something that you would never ever do on a normal day...something NEW! :)

FUNNY STORY:


Yesterday after I took a FREAKING hard test I was on my way to work. Ya know I was jamming out to my music.... & of course I was singing to it. Well all of a sudden I hear this loud car & I look to my RIGHT & here is this guy.
Full description: This guy looked just like Drew Carey (he's the host on Whose Line is it Anyway) w/ thin brimmed glasses.
Back to my story- When I looked over at him he started to do the eyebrow lift... Okay folks he didn't just do the eyebrow lift once he did it 3 times right in a row. OH dear is right! ha ha Its just one of those awkward moments you don't know how to react. I kinda just did the half smile--holding in my laugh! Don't think that I am making fun of this guy by his looks, but what really got me was his actions. It wasn't a smooth eye lift it was bungled (butchered)! Don't ya love stop lights & the people you get to see while stopped at them!!! ha ha :)
