one word...OUCH
I know...I know I am such a slacker on this thing. School has definitely kept me busy! I will update some of the things that will be happening, but first I am about to VENT! 2.4.2013
I was able to finally go to the Dentist. Folks if you know me you know that I love going to the Dentist, but yesterdays visit probably changed my mind. After an achy tooth from (Super Bowl Sunday) I thought it was time I needed to go get my tooth checked out. Well it turns out that I was going to get a ROOT CANAL. WHAT the heck is that I thought to myself! I found out very quickly what it was, when they starting numbing, grinding/scraping, & poking! I received 3 shots to get my left side completely numb. And the Dentist had some fun torturing my poor little tooth.
Never have a experienced that pain in my mouth besides wisdom teeth, but even then it wasn't that bad! I guess you could say my teeth have been pretty lucky the past 19 years.
After he finished up on my tooth..I left the Dentist feeling very droopy. And by that I mean the left side of my face was as numb as EVER! Don't you even worry it lasted at least 4+ hours & you bet I whined & complained about it the entire time. (my poor roommates). Honestly when the feeling completely came back I had never been so thankful for my face!
During the middle of the night I had thee sharpest/pointiest/ouchiest pain ever. It was the type of pain that makes you shoot straight up out of your sleep. It was my dang little tooth. Tears were streaming left & right. I was in just so much pain that I even text my mom. Folks it was late at night or should I say early! Who do you go to when your in pain...thats right my MAMA!! She gave my suggestions on what to do & I just went straight for the IBPRO & lots & lots of praying!!!! Man that stuff is magic. The pain slightly went down & I was able to rest. It came back..I shot straight up again, but this time I didn't cry!! I just prayed & prayed for the pain to go away + I took a few more pills because it had been 4 hours since my last intake.
Yes, that was how my night went on & yes this morning I did not want to get out of bed because I was super tired & hurting! But I did get up & I was so down in the dumps that I was just going to throw my hair up into a ponytail & throw on a jacket, but I decided to find something cute & to actually do my hair. I can't tell you how much of a difference it made. Even though I was still hurting inside- I felt pretty good on the outside!
So when your having one of those day 1 of the best things to do is to get yourself ready for the day. I promise you it makes a difference at least it did for me!

Collared shirts are one of my most favorite things right now!! You can do so much with them & they are awesome with layering! I definitely I had more of them hanging in my closet...that's for sure!!! Plus I love that this one is SPARKLY!!!
