the babes

soooooo....

I have no idea where this blog post is going to take us, but we will just have to see! RIGHT! :)

Okay most of you know that I now have {2} nieces. Oh man they are such a joy in my life. They make me smile, love, laugh, talk in weird baby voices, snuggle, kiss....so you get the idea.

Lately I have been looking for Christmas gifts for the 2 of them & can I just tell you that it isn't even time for Christmas & I bought them both a little something & already gave it to their mothers. Gosh...all the money I make I want to spend on them. Don't worry I don't, but I sure want to. This is my latest purchase for them. I have been obsessed with tights/leggings lately & so as you can guess that is what I bought them.

They gotta look stylish especially if it includes something their Auntie Googs (<--aka me) gave them. So I now introduce to you their own knit leggings.

Oh my goodness I love these so much. I really wish that I could rock them, but ya know when you have the good ole muscly legs (well use to be) like I do..yikes. So why not have Brookie & Liv rock the leggings--cause they totally will. (Even though Olivia won't fit into hers for a couple of months)...darn it ha ha!

Also I have been obsessed with the tribal looking legging. Guess what folks I found them. Ha not for myself, but for Brooklyn. As soon as I found them online I called her mom/my sis Nin & don't you worry Nin went over the next day to good ole Kohls & bought them...just like that. Readers...they are adorable noooo joke. Here they are:

 Aren't those just the cutest things you have ever seen??? And even though Brookie doesn't seem to happy in the picture she absolutely loves them! :) Right Brooklyn!!!

Next--->

Okay so yesterday I didn't have to work & I was freezing all day. When I got ready for the day I was really craving a sweater. Not just any sweater...a BIG sweater. I thought to myself I don't have any real big sweaters sooooo can you guess what I did????

Ding ding ding....if you guessed that I peeked in my Dad's closet & found a few of his sweaters. You were right! I tried them all on they were BIG, but some of them were way too big. Guess what...there was one that looked comfy, BIG, & somewhat stylish. Crazy huh? I paired this sweater w/ an infinity scarf. So cute- love scarves. Sad thing is I totally forgot to take a picture. But here are a few examples.
(thanks pinterest 4 the pictures & inspirations)
What I am going to do is take a pic of me in it & then take a pic of my Pops in it. Ha ha oh dear is right.
I am telling you guys, when you are trying to save up your money & spending money on new clothes can't happen...sometimes you just gotta get creative & ya know I did just that. And the crazy thing is I actually kind of loved the look of it.

Here is a challenge to you...try something so very different. Jump right out of your comfort zone & I mean it. You may totally rock it or it may just completely be a big fat NO, but seriously who cares. It's fun & it definitely brings out something new or old that you never knew you had. And who knows maybe just maybe when you try that new thing someone might see you & do the exact same thing & then you become famous...Right....but seriously!! Have fun with it, try it...I dare ya!

(The picture of my Dad & me will be up next on the blog...stay tuned!)
