my best friend's wedding
Friday the 28th I was able to attend my Best friend's wedding. Well you could say I stood outside the SLC Temple during the wedding, but greeted her & her new hubby Colby. I can't tell you how much it touched my heart to see one of my best friends come out of the temple all in white (off white), looking absolutely gorgeous, with a HUGE smile on her face. I may not know exactly what is taking place inside that immaculate Temple, but what I do know is that is life changing...literally & plus your sealed to that person for ETERNITY!!! What else could you ask for!
I'm sorry & I am so sad about it, but I barely took any pictures because
1. It was absolutely freezing & 2. I really was just flat out distracted ....darn it!
I was able to be there with my other best friend Sierra. I am so glad I had her because we both suffered the cold & yet we both got to experience seeing how happy our friend was on her wedding day. Nothin' much greater than that. After taking the group pictures at the Temple, Sierra and I headed over to City Creek to not only get warm, but to also waste some time while Tori & Colby finished their Temple pictures. Yes, we did get warm...Yes, we did see some dang cute things, & Yes, we were able to pass time by. We did have a lot of fun. We then walked over to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for the Luncheon. Can I just say...GORGEOUS! Yet again I forgot to take pictures of the luncheon on the 9th floor, but it was just amazing. The room had huge windows overlooking the Temple. AHHH just so great. Plus their wedding video was playing, and the food was amazing.
It was such a fun/cold day & I am so glad I got to experience it. I honestly can't wait for the day when my future fella takes me to the Temple & we are sealed for ETERNITY! YAY!
