I CAN DO IT!!!! + I get to talk to him on CHRISTMAS DAY!!!! _________________________ Fashion+FAMILY: Monday on my day off of work I was able to get a lot done at home and I got to meet Nin, James, & Brookie at City Creek. We enjoyed all the Christmas decor and festivities that were all around. BROOKLYN got to meet Santa for the 1st time ever, Nin found a sweater that she absolutely loves, James got a lot of film of Brookie being crazy in the stores, & I BOUGHT SOME SHOES... I just had to have them. I had seen them the week before &  I was just hoping that they were still there. My wish was granted. They were still there awaiting for my arrival to snatch them up & buy them! YAY! Plus plus they were quite inexpensive & so comfy. That is blog #2 for the week....so far so good. Tomorrow will be a full blog coverage of just fashion! So get ready! December oh how I love you!

long day Mom?

sunday relaxin' -it's so crazy that she did this! For more pictures of the weekend check out  my Sister's blog:  -> randomforevers.blogspot.com <- She definitely does a way better job of capturing all the fun & exciting moments we have as a family! To add a little style to this particular blog I have watched my boy cousins with their own style. Can I just say that the boys in my family definitely know how to dress. No joke! Hayden & Jared (in pic below) always rock some of their own individual/unique styles (which is so awesome). Jared...the one on the right has a really fun style. I absolutely love it. And ya know I think he enjoys it as well. I might have to do a separate blog post on him and maybe a few other boy cousins :). Christmas edition: Sunday night after all of the brothers & sisters left, my Mom & I ended the night with our traditional: watching cheesy Christmas movies. We saw a new one called : The Mistle-Tones Not only did I love it because 1. it was a Christmas movie 2. Tia (from Sister Sister) played in it 3. the wardrobe of the cast was AMAZING!!! I especially loved the dresses & outfits that Tia was able to wear. If ya don't have time to see this cute little ABC movie go online & look up her fun STYLE.

Yes SWOOP succeeded on messing my hair up before & after the picture.  And.......WE WERE on the BIGGGGG SCREEN!!! Why is that when you get on the big screen you either: go super shy or you find yourself doing ridiculous embarrassing things? Can you guess which one I was.....of course the CRAZY ONE!!! YIKES... Well I haven't given an update on my missionary in awhile....So here is an update!!!       He is currently in Childress & has been in this area for almost 3 transfers (i think). The area has been super slow, but Elder Rydalch has had such an awesome attitude & has constantly said I have a feeling things are going to pick up! I'm telling you he is just amazing.... In his email today said: "On Friday we showed up to the members house to teach her 12 year old granddaughter and the first thing the grandma said is sorry our guests won't be joining us tonight (meaning her granddaughter and grandson). I was pretty devastated I am  not gonna lie and I was praying in my heart something would happen. Then while we were eating dinner the granddaughter showed up :). I was so happy! And we were able to teach her after dinner and she committed to start taking the lessons once a week! I really believe that was one of those small miracles that I have been able to experience on my mission. I know some missionaries get to see amazing things happen, but with me it has been the small little miracles that are sometimes hard to notice. I really feel like I have some sort of connection with the girl that we are teaching...It might just be because her name is Kayla haha but I don't know :)." How sweet right!!! on {Nov. 11th} makes 6 MONTHS LEFT! :) Well that is all for now! Have a marvelous MONDAY! tomorrow in tells fashion..yay :)

Miranda was absolutely amazing! I had high expectations for it & it turned out better than I had even thought. She is quite gifted & HILARIOUS! :) I could be entertained by her all NIGHT! Watching her made me want to just perform & show everyone my goofy self. Even though she pretends to have a horrible voice...her real voice is INCREDIBLE & she is SUPER cute! I am so glad I went it was well worth the money & drive! YAY for Youtube & for MIRANDA! I love her! :)

( i love gettings LETTERS) I always love Tuesdays because...it's usually the day I get a letter from my missionary aka Elder Rydalch! I can't tell you how much these letters make my day! It is so incredible to see the growth in his testimony & spirit! He is amazzzzing! A direct quote from his letter was....            " I have LOVED my mission so far even though it hasn't always been the easiest. I have seen myself grow in ways I couldn't even imagine. I have changed quite a bit....not my personality DON'T WORRY, but just my thoughts and intentions in life. Which I think is great RIGHT? My intentions and thoughts are starting to line up with Heavenly Father's MORE I would say. If that makes sense!" -Elder Judd Rydalch Not only is his testimony growing out there in Texas, but I feel receiving his letters, emails, & recordings helps me grow. It makes me want to be a better person and it definitely strengthens my own testimony! I don't know what I would do without the Gospel in my own life! What an amazing blessing it truly is!  Not only do I love Tuesdays because of my sweet letters, but also because I know that one of my new favorite shows comes on. Even though I don't have time to watch them on Tuesday nights especially this week (2tests & lots of homework). I definitely make an effort as quick as possible to tune in on Hulu. My new favorite show is "Jane By Design." Of course I like it because of the design part :) but it's just a show you don't have to worry about too bad of stuff creepin' in it! :) YAY! Humor Half: So the funny story I have picked for today is..... Last semester I was set up on a Blind Date by one of my favorite girls in my English class. So this kid (we will call him) Herbert took me with 2 other people to the roller skating rink at the Logan Fun Park. Yes I said rollerskating and no I didn't choose to wear the skates I wore ROLLERBLADES! Well Herbert decided to try out the skates. It really was such a fun date & I had a blast, but yes of course because it's me Kayla, something had to go wrong & this is what went wrong. We all started playing tag yes on wheels. It was great & was going really well & not to mention a really good workout! Well after falls, pushing, dancing, and laughs it came to that point. My date definitely took me out & by taking me out i mean he ran straight into me & we flipped over each other and just were tangled like a pretzel. I definitely had bruises for awhile. But it was fun & I would do it again.

Friday... I packed up my little blue car & headed to SLC right after work to spend the weekend w/ "NIN" Melinda & little BROOKIE! Can I just say that after spending the weekend with Nin she inspired me to finally write another POST! If you wanna here more about our weekend read her blog @ randomforevers.blogspot.com its a DANDY....she does such an AWESOME job of keeping up with it!

This weekend was definitely a weekend needed! I tell you what College can take it right out of you with the homework, attempting  studying, finances, work, and of course many of you know...cause you have lived it! Don't think I am complaining about College because I truly do love it, but there just are those times when it gets ya' down. But my weekend brought my SPIRITS to an ULTIMATE HIGH!!!

It was such a good weekend that I didn't head home til yesterday morning (monday)
Ya know I am feeling so positive and ready to take on the week but....
of course I had a rut...for a split second

Quick Story: In my Drawing 1 class we had to draw something round... I chose an egg :) In this picture it had to incorporate light and dark(shadows). When I hung up mine, as did my classmates---my professor went around critiquing each drawing. When he got to mine he said, "What is this suppose to be?" My response, ummm... (awkward laugh) I attempted an egg of COURSE. Man....ha ha kinda a slap to the face, but ya know it will only make me better///RIGHT! I hope! p.s. i though it looked like an egg!




I feel like I have grown and learned so much in such a short amount of time. I am slowly learning how to do things all on my own...yes I said slowly! You never truly appreciate something til it's not a part of your everyday life.

My dreams keep getting bigger and at night I can't sleep because there is so much I want to do! Drumroll.....the thing that has been on my mind quite heavily lately (besides my MISSIONARY:) is.. what I want to be when I grow up & honestly--right now I am going into Graphic Design & yes I would love to stick with it as a minor & truly *MAJOR* in Fashion Management.....ahhhh how amazing it would be!


I apologize for the randomized BLOG POST, but there is so much that is needed to be said & what a great way to start it out allll RANDOM! :) just like ME!
